Postdoc position is open from 1. Januar 2008 for three years at the Institute for Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, University of Luebeck, Germany in the research group of Dr. Laskay 
 
$-1òþPathogenesis of infection with intracellular pathogensòü
 
Requirements: Ph.D. in one of the areas immunology/cell biology/biochemistry or equivalent qualification. Experience with infections is of advantage.
 
The major research focus of the group is the interaction between neutrophil granulocytes and intracellular pathogens. The projects involve investigations regarding antimicrobial activity, apoptosis as well as immunregulatory functions of neutrophils.
