In the scope of an EU-funded 3-year research program "Prion screen", we invite applications for the position of a
 
Doctoral student (doctor rer. nat.).
 
The successful candidate will investigate proteins that specifically interact with cellular prion protein and the common genetic variant. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a master /BSc degree in biology, medicine or life sciences. Knowledge of molecular biological and proteomic methods would be invaluable. The salary is paid according to the German University scale EG 13 TV-L-50 %.
