The Institute of Polymer Materials offers a
 
Postdoc Position (Extensional Rheology) 
 
The task is to determine the extensional viscosity of polyacrylamide solutions with an existing device built up at the Institute based on flow induced birefringence and Laser-Doppler velocimetry. 
 
We are searching for a highly motivated and interdisciplinarily interested person, with a Ph.D. or doctoral degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Physics. The temporary position is available from now for at least 2 years and is part of a project supported by the German Research Foundation. The salary for this full-time position is based on the payment common for scientists in Germany.
