Ihre Aufgabe:
The Bosch Research and Technology Center (RTC) in Palo Alto, CA, USA is part of Bosch Corporate Research.
The microsystems group at the RTC is conducting research in the area of imaging far-infrared sensors, exploring new thin-film and wafer-level packaging technologies aimed at high quality sensors for high-volume production. The effort is part of a public funding proposal and will be conducted in close cooperation with Stanford University.
We are looking for a graduated engineer or scientist, with an excellent Master or ”Diplom” degree, who wants to work towards a doctoral degree on this subject. The work will be supervised by an academic advisor at a German university and a local mentor at the RTC.
Your Task

• Design and simulation of infrared sensor array in semiconductor process
  
• Process samples in cleanroom environment.
  
• Characterize optical, mechanical, electrical properties of the device

Ihr Profil:

• Outstanding degree in electrical engineering, physics or related
  
• Ability for self-motivated and independent work
  
• very good interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment
  
• Experience and know-how in semiconductor processes
  
• FEM tools such as COMSOL or Ansys for multi-physics simulation
  
• Experience in circuit design and use of system level design tools, e.g. Simulink, a strong plus.
